Pallet
The single-use pallet is made entirely of NIDOPAN® honeycomb cardboard and is produced in different sizes according to customer needs. The alveolar cardboard pallets can be:
a 2 way
a 4 way
a double floor
Misure standard sizes: 120 × 80 cm. and 80 × 60 cm.
Altre sizes on request.

The use of the alveolar cardboard pallet offers numerous advantages, among which:

LIGHTNESS: the pallet in 120×80 cm 4-way honeycomb cardboard weighs only 2 kg compared to 15/20 kg of traditional wooden pallets and this facilitates handling with evident reduction in transport costs.
ROBUSTNESS: in tests carried out by external laboratories, the alveolar cardboard pallet was found to have a high resistance to compression, thanks also to the double gluing of the feet using vinyl and thermo–melting glue.
RECYCLABILITY: made entirely from recycled paper, the honeycomb cardboard pallet is therefore 100% eco–compatible and can be recovered together with boxes and other paper packaging.
SAFETY e VERSATILITY: the absence of nails and any wooden splinters makes the honeycomb cardboard pallet totally safe in handling. Eliminating the risk of injury to those who handle it or of damaging the packaging and contents.

classifications
They are defined by the number of “intake routes” and by “reversibility“.
In fact, the classifications of pallets in alveolar cardboard can be defined in relation to the number of “forklift routes” or to reversibility.
By “way” or “forklift compartment” we mean the opening that allows the entry of the forks of a forklift or pallet truck.
A pallet is called a two-way or four-way pallet depending on whether it allows the passage of the forks only on the two opposite sides or on all four sides.
A pallet is defined as reversible (double floor) if both top and bottom surfaces can be used as a support base.

The use pallet in honeycomb cardboard is recommended when the customer is located in countries where anti-parasitic wood regulations and Normative apply.
The use monouse pallet in honeycomb cardboard is recommended when the customer is located in countries where anti-parasitic specifics regulations of Law, apply at the wood.
Regulations in force for pallets
ISPM - F.A.O. 2002 Normative
The “ISPM No. 15 (2002) regulation Guidelines for the “Regulation of Wood Packaging Materials in International Trade” was approved in 2002 by FAO in order to reduce the spread of forest pests through raw wood packaging used in trade international.
Exporters must certify that the packaging material has been fumigated or heat treated so that it is free from harmful organisms.
Why use the cardboard pallet?
According to the ISPM regulations, the use of cardboard pallets is recommended especially when the recipient country requests to receive the goods on pallets free of wood pests (USA, Canada, China, Australia, Turkey, Brazil and many others already follow this standard).
The cardboard pallet does not need any fumigation or thermal treatment to be suitable for the legislation.
